I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with Francis Lecaé and his dogs Arry & Circeé de la Saulaie Maraiche, who are working on advanced French Ring titles, at Club du Chien de Berger d'Utilité de Lille (http://www.wix.com/matthiasdeknuyt/ccbdlille and also http://www.vanthangijzer.nl/Lille2008.html). The idyllic meadow amidst the ruins of an ancient citadel and the friendly social atmosphere belie the intensity and dedication of handlers, decoys and dogs.
